Consulting is an approach of assisting organizations to better their outcome, primarily through the analysis of existing organizational challenges, followed by adoption of unique methodologies to mitigate/overcome those challenges.
Consulting methodologies typically possess some or all of the following characteristics:
- Backed by a body of research undertaken either in an Academic or Enterprise environment
- Based on a coherent set of design Principles, Concepts and proven Theories
- Enables a particular challenge to be confronted in a structured and systematic manner with utmost probability of achieving desired outcome
